24hr day of prayer - 20th November 2009

One minute past midnight, Friday 20th November 2009. That’s when we start praying for 24hrs without stopping.

One of the highpoints during both 2007 and 2008 was the 24hr days of prayer here at Roxeth. Whether groggy from sleep deprivation or not, we committed, we came and we prayed. Many of those who came said how wonderful it was to set an hour or two aside to be in God’s presence in prayer.

There will be an opportunity to pray about a number of matters current in our church life as well as time and space to be still before the Lord with those issues on your own heart.

We will have a sign up sheet ready in October at the church, so please put 20th November 2009 in your diary and make a point of committing to an hour to come before the Lord and pray.
