I.D. - who and what is the Church?

Who are we?

That question is at the heart our latest series. The Bible describes the people of God in many wonderful and fascinating ways and we will be looking more deeply, in the coming weeks, at how God himself sees us as revealed in his word. The Church of Jesus Christ is unique among all other communities in the world in that it is “unlike any organisation that man has ever devised, because man didn’t devise it”.

Our identity is who and what we are – and understanding the amazing work of God in turning a disparate, varied group of people from all over the world into a unified, Spirit-filled, christ-following, cross-focused body of disciples is just the start of God’s plan for his people, the Church.
