Join us for group Pilates classes to improve your posture, mobility and core strength in a welcoming, friendly and inclusive environment. These classes are designed for women of all abilities to learn Pilates in a fun atmosphere with like-minded ladies.

Classes are run by Wendy Caygill of Abundant Fitness, in partnership with Roxeth Community Church, and are offered at the low price of just £6.00 per session.

Pilates Gold - Chair based exercise (Ladies & Gents welcome)

If you struggle with exercise but want to keep your body moving so you can keep mobile why not come along and try one of these FREE chair-based classes. The classes are low impact and will help you with your functional fitness. After the class why not stay and enjoy a cup of tea, slice of cake and a chat. Wendy runs Pilates Gold at two venues each week so please see the table below for details.

More About Wendy Caygill and Abundant Fitness

Hello, my name is Wendy, founder of Abundant Fitness, and I’m a Pilates Level 3 Mat work Instructor; I’m also a wife, mother and member of Roxeth Community Church.

I first came to Pilates about 4 years ago after suffering years of lower back pain, brought on through my job which entailed me either sitting at a desk, on a plane or in a car for long periods of time.  My doctor prescribed strong pain killers which I didn’t feel comfortable taking.  After reading and researching back pain I learned that, through strengthening the deep core muscles which act as a corset around your spine, I could improve my posture and mobility which would help to alleviate the pain; so I began both strength training and regular Pilates classes.  To my amazement, after only a few months, the back pain I had suffered from for years began to lessen. After six months the back pain had completely gone and I found I was more flexible and mobile and my posture had dramatically changed for the better. I wanted to share my new findings and teach others this wonderful method, so decided to leave my job and retrain as a Pilates Instructor.

Whilst training and researching I realised Pilates classes were considerably more expensive than other classes, making it prohibitively expensive for many people to go and experience the health benefits of Pilates. So, in partnership with Roxeth Community Church, we have set up two Ladies-Only Beginners/Intermediate classes at a cost of only £6.00 per session, to help enable people in the local area to come along and give Pilates a try. The classes are welcoming, friendly and inclusive and are designed for everyone to be able to do Pilates in a fun atmosphere with likeminded ladies.
